Yeah "guy on the internet" is currently staring at two pieces of private land on the Seine that prevent a public river corridor, while he does his protected area work that he's been doing as a job across Canada for more than 20 years. It's in the Little Forks Urban National Park proposal.

Manitoba nature nerd here. 🙋 Western scientific knowledge identifies it as walleye. But yes, we just called them pickerel growing up in eastern Manitoba. It's the same fish. The index of this book doesn't even list pickerel.
