I hate DIY. Unless it’s painting. No, wait, I don’t really like that either, I’m just competent at it from years of practice. Only it’s a necessity sometimes. Yes, I’m scrubbing my hands for the 4th time. I’m complaining about DIY, but here is a photo of our dog smiling. She’s a good girl!!

Ok, I have to start thinking about the art for Herexis. Currently i'm using a few packs from itch.io - and they look ok but there's no consistency. Plus I need a title screen, some kind of intro and a couple of ending screens. I'd normally use Fiverr but its all AI slop now

I survived Exit 6 Film Festival. 🙂 The actual day was nice & saw about 11 shorts (will watch more online) & met new people & one mate I hadn’t seen in ages.
A large black sign with the words Exit 6 Film Festival on it in yellow font.Erica is standing in from on it. She’s a mixed race woman with a black Afro thst frames her face. She is wearing a long coat that is black a with what looks like something Jackson Pollock ( the painter) had been let loose with white and blue paint to make dots on her coat. She is smiling & has a yellow lanyard for the festival around her neck.

come to the archive where you can look at historic doodles of a guy fighting two swans
An 18th century ledger showing payments and numbers in a column. In the centre of the page is a crude illustration of two large birds(?) with their tails going up in a spiral, one with spots, the other white. A figure smoking a pipe and wearing a hat and boots is grabbing one of them by the neck. There is a mysterious box next to him which looks a lot like a Looney Tunes style TNT detonator, though obviously that would be ahistorical given the perfectly sensible composition of the rest of the doodle.
