Because Vance is a living node in a Russia-funded propaganda machine; everyone should please notice that there is nothing American about having to fly to a foreign country to try to influence its election so that your own career can continue as planned.

really can't be said enough that this case was decided by the same court that decided plessy v. ferguson. if they could have found a plausible rationale to limit birthright citizenship they would have done it. but there is none! the text is as clear as constitutional language can be.

The NYT says today’s #NoKings protests had “no shortage of skeptics,” and then quoted exactly one of those skeptics: The chairman of the Ole Miss College Republicans (as of 2025.) But of course, the Times doesn’t ID him as such. He’s just a Concerned Youth.
The marches had no shortage of skeptics.
In Oxford, Miss,, Cass Rutledge, a first-year law student at the University of Mississippi, walked through the No Kings protest and around the town square on Saturday and questioned why people thought Mr. Trump was acting like a king.
"He is, you know, a duly elected president who won the popular vote and the electoral college in a landslide," Mr. Rutledge said.
"And so I'm a little bit confused on how he's acting differently than any other president."
He pointed to the stalemate in Congress over the SAVE America Act, the Republican-driven bill to tighten voter identification and registration rules, which Democrats have called an attempt to suppress turnout based on false claims of voting fraud. Mr. Rutledge said that Mr.
Trump was "going through the process" to try to get the legislation passed.olemiss.collegerepublicans • Follow The University of Mississippi - Ole Miss

What problem is Trump's new global 10% tariff meant to solve? If it's about leverage, ask: How much leverage do you get from a tariff that disappears in 150 days? If it's onshoring: Who builds new factories based on tariff that disappear before the factory is built? It's a tax. That's all it is.

If the police are unilaterally determining what is and is not public policy, then you live in a police state.
“The reality of one armed agency approaching another armed agency to create conflict over something that would be a misdemeanor at best or an infraction, it doesn’t make any sense. It’s not a good public policy decision and it wasn’t well thought out in my opinion,” McDonnell said.

Every example of ai being useful begins with "okay imagine you're in a situation, and you are very dumb"
"Here’s an example that Google’s Josh Woodward, VP of the Gemini app, Google Labs, and AI Studio, shared in a blog post about how Personal Intelligence can work. Google also put together a similar example in a video that I’ve embedded below:

For example, we needed new tires for our 2019 Honda minivan two weeks ago. Standing in line at the shop, I realized I didn’t know the tire size. I asked Gemini. These days any chatbot can find these tire specs, but Gemini went further. It suggested different options: one for daily driving and another for all-weather conditions, referencing our family road trips to Oklahoma found in Google Photos. It then neatly pulled ratings and prices for each. As I got to the counter, I needed our license plate. Instead of searching for it or losing my spot in line to walk back to the parking lot, I asked Gemini. It pulled the seven-digit number from a picture in Photos and also helped me identify the van’s specific trim by searching Gmail. Just like that, we were set."

NEW: Four days before oral arguments, Justice Sam "stock trader" Alito decides he "will not continue to participate" in a case involving oil companies. This means that he did participate in certiorari stage proceedings, despite owning relevant stocks.
Re: No. 24-813, Chevron USA v. Plaquemines Parish
Dear Counsel:
I am writing to inform the parties that Justice Alito has determined that he will not continue to participate in this case because of a financial interest in ConocoPhillips, the parent corporation for Burlington Resources Oil and Gas Company. Justice Alito initially decided not to recuse because on June 2, 2025 Burlington was dismissed as a petitioner in this Court under Rule 46.1 after Burlington advised the Court by letter that it was "withdrawing" from the petition and that "neither Burlington Resources nor ConocoPhillips will be a party to (or have any other involvement in) the above-referenced case." Later briefing, however, noted that Burlington remained a party in the district court.
Sincerely,
Scott S. Harris
Clerk of the Court
