I was taken to Schindler's List in the theater at the age of 7. At the time it was one of the few pieces of evidence my relatives could point to for showing the history of our kind of people. It's sad that the understanding of it has become so narrow by design of the producers.

One of the things about posts like this is that nobody was very familiar with the baseline recall rates because there was institutional trust in the system. The danger of the Trump admin is that we may have a more dangerous food supply, but we also may not have the tools to properly quantify it.

my wife has a friend who sent Dolly Parton a painting she made & a letter explaining how much Dolly's music meant to her while she was transitioning. The reason he's saying not to question judgement, by the way, is that if cops pretend that what they did was somehow reasonable then they more easily get away with it in court. Cops are trained never to let evidence exist that shows they knew they fucked up.

I don't fully disagree, but in reality we saw people use exactly that option in 2024, leading to Kamala's loss. This is why all the exit poll and analysis of the 2024 voter population was so useless. The more interesting group are the people who chose to stay home rather than vote for Kamala.

There was a closeted girl in 1991 who snuck into her older sister's bathroom to apply light pink nail polish. This was noticed at snack time at the daycare, parents were called. She tried to come out in 2005, and it was too difficult. She didn't fully come out until 2020. It shouldn't take so long.
