Then there's a wasp thingy with a skull for a head wearing a gold crown, and flying above a black hat that's sprouted tentacles. The hat-wearer peers at the reader, but we can only see its red pupils.

I don't know how to describe the last one, but it has lots of faces, eyes, and color. And ghosts.

This year's theme is "Yellow."

From the editors: "Yellow is such an unusual and rare color that, in the natural world, it always invites intrigue: Yellow always makes me take a moment to pause: What was that catching my eye? Signs of yellow invite investigation, bring joy and hope and newness to a world paler without them. What may often come as a flicker--wildflowers on the side of the road, a sticky note reminder--lingers more and more. Or, at least, the warmth and song of yellow becomes something sought after."

today is the day I learned about the arachnid with bunny ears, the bunny eared harvestman and no, I will not ever be the same

OK so this looks like a little yellow harvestman (daddy long legs) except FOR REAL it's got a black round head with BUNNY EARS ON IT for a body. It has two yellow false eyes and its real eyes, shiny and black, sit further down on the 'body.' It's adorable and creepy at the same time and I need to know why the fuck it evolved to have a bunny on it.
