I have developed the need for a food processor. I have a really nice kitchenaid blender and I am simply not a blender person it never gets used unless I’m trying to use it in a food processor kind of way and it doesn’t work like that. Would anyone like to trade lmao

Just a reminder that people don’t always realize they were raped in the immediate aftermath. It can take hours, days, months, and even years to realize you were raped, and it doesn’t make it any less true. There are many kinds of responses, including fawning and trying to appease your rapist

Socially and in the legal system, our understanding of responses to sexual violence is purposefully uninformed and therefore limited to only “perfect” victims (who don’t really exist), so that we don’t have to actually combat sexual violence or believe victims or hold perpetrators accountable.

every year this week is the hardest one and this year is no different. I am ready to crawl into a hole and disappear and I feel lots of sad-anger this year compared to others but I think I’m handling it better so I’m proud of myself for that but it doesn’t negate that the feelings are still there

Campus rape is really widespread; statistics suggest a significant percent of women who go to college will be raped there; feminism opened up a good conversation about it around 2012-13; it's weird when people treated Cornell like an isolated rather than dramatic example of a pervasive problem.
