I turned the Git repository for Mellifera, my scripting language with mutable value semantics, into a physical printed book! The script that generates the book is, of course, written in Mellifera itself. You can just do things! 🐝 #mellifera

A paperback book titled "The Mellifera Programming Language" sitting inside the package it was just unboxed from. The book in 8.5x11 inches with about an inch (~250 pages) of depth, has a plain tan background, and features a cover image of Melli, a rotund cute looking cartoon bee with tiny wings who is smiling. The cover features subtitles with the commit SHA (9d7db45aa2df8d4b668c374a49c552bcc3a80c61) and the commit date (2026-09-01) used for the source code of the book.

Plant day! 🌱 Wife and I planted some tomatoes and herbs in our back yard garden for the first time! We also went to the local plant/coffee shop and picked up some cute little guys for our indoor shelves (still need to be re-potted)!

Wife and I hung some shelves in our living room. 🐝 Went with an asymmetrical look because the studs in the wall did not allow the two horizontal shelves to be properly centered. Totally fucked up driving one of the screws into a stud, but it could look worse 🤷‍♀️
