In this case, we were experimenting with some new tools. @synapsid.wtf came by to demonstrate the schematic cannon which is highly effective and a little whimsical. It reminded me a little of the description of nanobots rebuilding Tokyo in Gibson's Bridge trilogy, blocks tossed on ground to top.

supports maintain a part of the bridge about 25-27 blocks away as beams and support railing extend outwards but don't quite connect in every case, leaving tenuous connections and a large gap

Here's where we'll end this morning! I've got a lot of work to do, and I'm sure you do too. But you can see that the bottom of the bridge is almost completely planned from here. Ground access will be needed, and final supports installed but it's lit and the catwalks now are supported properly!

wooden braces are added to fully support the catwalk structure to ensure safety, orange safety lighting is installed, the supports for the beams and cobble are installed, the undercarriage has mostly taken proper shape

Okay, Morning Minecraft. Here we've got the beams laid in, and we're placing the planks on top. I liked a few lumbers for this, actually, but most of them wouldn't work with the Chipped mod, I wanted pegged boards so I went with oak here!
