Heads up if you use a PC with Windows 11: recent updates have put "Copilot" on your computer! This is Microsoft's new AI and it is integral to your OS; you CANNOT delete it! BUT! You can -disable- it. And since it spies on you, odds are you'll want to it! They don't make it easy, though.

First, you need to have Admin rights for the machine and be logged in to the administrator account. Now, right-click on the Start menu (Windows logo on the Taskbar.) A menu pops up, about half way down you'll see Terminal and Terminal (Admin); click on the Admin option.

Copilot is so creepy, I was in a zoom with an elder who couldn't figure out how to get rid of it. She left the zoom and the AI stayed taking notes. 🥴🤨

So, Microsoft has pledged not to use customer data to train their AI (which believe that or not as you see fit), they also integrated CoPilot heavily into Outlook, so if you use search often to find stuff in your inbox you’re out of luck. You’ll find other tasks wonkier too

This will be handy for when they inevitably start killing services for Win10 in a year or two. Win7 finally got taken out back and quietly disposed of starting last month(by way of chromium and steam no longer supporting it).
