Most Americans have no idea this much of their privacy is gone. A whole bunch of folks will tell you there’s nothing they can do about it and shrug. But we can absolutely claw back our rights and we should at least try, even if that means state by state. (CA, CO, IL, NY for examples) #privacy

Because medical device manufacturers do not care one whit about security — they just bolt on a couple options at the end of the dev cycle and call it good enough.

So a really good vish right now would be a text saying you’ve been rebooked on your upcoming flight … that probably has a higher failure rate (I.e. they click the link) than just about anything.

NY Gov. Mario Cuomo was going to run for President. He chose not to run & an upstart out of Arkansas came out of nowhere to win. When Obama won, no one thought he had an iota of a chance, but he tapped that newfangled social media thing, energized dormant voting blocks and became president. 1/2

The thing about Jesuits is they are curious and humane, their quest for knowledge is aligned with serving their flocks. They love science! Pope Francis was our first Jesuit Pope and he really made a difference, he tried to move Catholics into compassion and humanity and for that I thank him.
