CapnMarrrrk @capnmarrrrk.bsky.social · 25/07/2024Had a meeting where 50 comments from 110 employees surveyed participants said they didn't want RTO. Job satisfaction numbers plummeted. "RTO aside we need to look into why the graph has dipped" Bwhahahahah! 1376
Katie Tightpussy, Editor-In-Chief @katie.bzky.team · 04/07/2023this is high art. i love this format so much 050
ph00tbag @ph00tbag.bsky.social · 04/08/2025I'm used to this format being ironic, is the only thing. 000
Maneki Neko @manekineko.bsky.social · 16/05/2023At least the picture on the right is of cubicles which gave some visual privacy: removed by the horrid "open office plans" like 15 years ago. Now with forced return to the office, they demand people rotate (reserve for the day) desks & you rub elbows with your coworkers trying to type. Dehumanizing! 0100
jetpacktuxedo @jetpa.cktuxe.do · 16/05/2023I actually like going into a real office from time to time because it helps me personally stay focused and be less distracted. I hope they don't actually disappear altogether. No one should be _required_ to go back though, that's just stupid. 2140
CGI Bear Grylls @cgibeargrylls.bsky.social · 04/08/2023My office has the stupid low cubicles and it makes me want to kms 030
Beth @cravescavesgraves.bsky.social · 30/07/2025My last office job sent out an anonymous end of the year satisfaction survey. 18-20 people in the office, and OVERWHELMINGLY the feedback was "management sucks". They changed nothing, but also never surveyed us again. I've now been self employed for 11 years. 140
tinymattresses @tinymattresses.bsky.social · 30/07/2025There are lots of other reasons I go into an office and none of those are on here. By all means wfh but please don't shit on people who actually do better in offices and need them to still exist thank you 100
Tori! @toripup.bsky.social · 25/07/2024The best about a hybrid workforce is when I drive an hour to the office to spend a couple hours on teams meetings with the remote workers. 070
Citizen Platano 🇵🇷 @daniloc.xyz · 16/05/2023we can win this: “The number of companies that require employees to be in the office full time has actually declined to 42%, from 49% three months ago” archive.is/RbIXharchive.isThe Return to the Office Has Stalled - WSJarchived 16 May 2023 09:43:59 UTC 36016
Randy Coppinger 🎙🎛🎧 @randycoppinger.bsky.social · 05/09/2023For all the jobs that don't really need folks to show up in person, but that make folks return anyway: we blew it! We had an inflection point where we could have changed social norms, changed how we work. It could have been better for business, better for workers, and better for the environment. 070
Cameron @cameron.stream · 16/05/2023@arpitrage.bsky.social this is why offices will die, because the people have awoken 030
Esthiru 🏳️⚧️ @esthiru.bsky.social · 30/07/2025100% this. I'm not athletic and have the combat skills of a comatose raccoon, but I'm willing to fight anyone who defends going to the office over remote work. 140
SmashedNSinking @smashedandsinking.com · 25/07/2024You mean I can just work from home alone...on my couch.....? 😉 010
quicksilver2006.bsky.social @quicksilver2006.bsky.social · 03/08/2025There was a book years and years ago by Faith Popcorn, I think, that predicted we'd all be working from home and suffering from a lack of actual contact with people. Joke's on us, I guess. 000
gromm93.bsky.social @gromm93.bsky.social · 31/07/2025Cute. If you want to know where they came from, try working a factory floor for a while and then make a determination about how offices are some kind of hellscape of carpeting and air conditioning. 000
Stef Walter @stephaniewalter.bsky.social · 30/07/2025The neons, I hate those. I'm in an open space, and chose my desk to get "as minimum neon in my field of view" as possible, because I see them blink and it brings headaches and makes it impossible to focus. But, yeah, so nice to be back in the office. 040
The Straight of Hormel @privateprism.bsky.social · 30/07/2025Imagine telling a 14th-century villein in the French countryside that cars exist and then telling them how most people use them. 000
Nick † Wright @nickwrightdata.ntw.app · 16/05/2023This should have something that responds to "but I work better in person with zero tech obstacles between us" 160
álvaro postabosta 🚂 @alvarofreitas.bsky.social · 16/05/2023I guess it’s a matter of time until this template becomes used for real silly stuff (can’t wait) 130
Spooky rail enthusiast wife Daria @dariaphoebe.com · 04/07/2023I miss having a regular coffee shop I worked from every day. Pandemic changed it all 😢 Literally I was a coffee shop-as-office person from July 2005 until March 2020 030
Chris Doyon @nilbog3000.bsky.social · 25/07/2024I absolutely cannot be my best self in a room paved with peel and stick carpet squares 080
Asher Reese @asherreese.bsky.social · 16/05/2023My favorite is companies bringing people back to the office full time only to cut employee office perks and possibly even staff because. Wait for it. They don’t want to pay the resources for people they are bringing back to work in office. 0261
Nails the Tabaxi 🍉 @nailsthetabaxi.bsky.social · 26/07/2024Thank fuck my new position at my job let me go 100% remote work, not commuting was an effective $50 a week pay hike. 010
llogiq @llogiq.bsky.social · 30/10/2023I'm sorry to say this, but I believe you failed the meme. It's not supposed to make utter sense. Perhaps next time try for, like "stop doing dishes" or something. 020
Eden West @eden-west.bsky.social · 19/09/2024Realistically, remote work and off shoring is here to stay. A lot of companies are doing this to just get you to quit so they don't have to pay severance. Which makes sense, if they have to downsize and not pay you on your way out, they'll do it. 💀 But yeah people wonder why they're so depressed. 000
