I was gonna say Poltergeist, which I remember seeing on HBO. But my father took me to see Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan in the theater and sat us in the front row. I had just turned 5. If you've seen it, you'll know exactly which scene. (both films released June 4, 1982!)

Itchy brain tonight led to a stash dive for this yarn. I'm already tinking because a four-row increase repeat is apparently too hard. 🫠 Probably good I didn't have enough yarn for the asymmetrical two-color brioche stitch shawl but you bet your ass I bookmarked that puppy.

A ball of fingering weight variegated yarn in white, blue, and gold with the beginnings of a knit garter stitch shawl resting on top of it. The project is on a striped Mexican blanket in purple, white, and a green I never noticed was green until just now.

My back is still quite fucked up but I had to go in to the office for a bit this morning. Figured I might as well swing by my favorite thrift store on the way home & found a seemingly working (if filthy) instant pot for $13.49. Also, a new headlamp.

A plastic LED lamp in the shape of a human head. It lights up in different colors and can be set to change color every second or two, at the time of the photo it was purple. I've stuck my "ain't dead yet" baseball cap on it as a lampshade.
