Not one for moral victories, but the MSU defense has played like a unit that can handle a lot of the mid offenses that MSU will get to play this season. If the offensive line can continue improve and keep Alessio upright there might be something here. If they're bad it will still be a rough season

Probably good for the players (until they do a 24+ team playoff and get rid of the 2nd bye) but absolutely DESPISE this for me personally. Having MSU's home opener kicking off Labor Day weekend every year was a perfect tradition, and it's a shame it will be killed by more fucking greedy TV execs
