Hello,

We’re reaching out to share an important update regarding the DigitalOcean Open Source Credits Program.

DigitalOcean has decided to sunset the Open Source Credits Program. As part of this change, we are no longer accepting new credit applications or approving credit renewals, extensions, or additional credit requests.

Question about SMTP greylisting: it's possible to return an error _after_ DATA, right? (or maybe that's already how it usually works, haven't checked) So here's a wild idea: ingest the message, lie to the sender that it wasn't, keep it in the junk folder (or "Incoming") until the exact same […]

I don't want to talk about satellites and genAI (though I appreciate all the comments in my mentions. I just need a little break) I want to talk about goats and squash! Positive things I can directly affect! (Well, goats are you know, goats. So there are some limits to directly affecting them.)
A view looking down into the bed of a large pickup truck, completely full of squash. There is a bin of yellow and green gourds, multiple bins of acorn squash, a giant pile of spaghetti squash, semi-green baking pumpkins, white carving pumpkins, delicious warty pumpkins and big orange baking pumpkins.Me, standing in the middle of a mostly-empty squash field, holding a very large pumpkin (maybe 30 lbs?). I'm wearing a sun hat and a black hoodie and looking very proud of this giant orange pumpkin in my arms. It's sunny and the sky is blue.A whole bunch of goats happily eating weeds with a small lake and some trees in the background, with a bright blue sky above a pretty flat horizon.

I needed a goat-apple-opera break from grant-writing and I bet you do too.
A white goat wish her head thrown back, chewing an apple, but sort of looks like she's singing. There are several other goats in the background, one other one obviously eating an apple. Four goats, two white and two black, all eating apples with their heads back and their mouths open like they are singing opera. Two goats, one white and one black, look like they are singing with their heads back as they eat red apples. There's a tall wooden fence in the background and green grass under their feet, as well as several other goats in the background.

Everything's coding. When you buy a cookbook, you see the recipe, that's just an American word for coding. When you ask somebody how to do something, that's coding. When you codify a business process, that's coding. Everything's coding. If you want to do something, if you want to discover the best way of doing something, and then after that, repeat it over and over again without anybody deviating from that process or that methodology or that best-known process, however you guys. Right?
There's a lot of words about it. It's all coding. We code in a lot of different ways. We code to make omelets.
We code to repeatedly close our books and manage our supply chain. We code in order to communicate with each other in a consistent way. The connecting fabric, for example, the supply chain, is one giant large piece of code.
Not one code, but trillions of pieces of code.
Everything that we do is in fact coding. It's a sensible thing. It's also the easiest thing for Al to learn, and the reason for that is because there's a right answer. The best answer is hard to find, but the right answer is not hard to find. Coding is an important part of it. A derivative of coding is, of course, bug finding, and a derivative of that, which is a very large market, is called cybersecurity.
