Nonsense from Trump. No immigrants were involved. The ultra left who attacked police and public buildings are almost all white French. The looters who exploited the chaos were very young kids from the poor suburbs, brown and black in many cases but almost certainly French

Those who preach peace through capitulation won't tell you what russian occupation means. russians occupied Izyum for less than 6m. After liberation, we found mass graves of 447 ppl, most of whom were civilians, incl 215 women and 5 children. Bodies had multiple signs of torture.

Well said by @lordrickettsp.bsky.social There should have been an extremely serious debate about this even earlier, from the moment the National Security Report came out in 2025 that called for a "whole-of-society“-approach to defense. But no national conversation followed.

USS Enterprise lobbing a small hatchback into the briny at a speed it likely never achieved on the road. And certainly not in the vertical dimension. The advent of the nuclear reactor promised endless power on tap, but in a reckless bout of enthusiasm Enterprise somehow received eight boxes of the unusually spicy rocks. With that much nuclear power on hand it'd be silly not to do daft things with motor vehicles...

The Telegraph article says Musk "publicly blamed" Trump for Starshield being limited but if you read Musk's post, it's worded to make you assume it was Trump's doing. And through this misdirection his own role as advisor is visible only by its absence.
Screencap of Elon Musk tweet:

"Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government. Any limits on speed or usage are decided by the US military and ultimately POTUS.

Starlink is a commercial service owned and controlled by SpaceX. Usage of Starlink is limited to civilian or defensive activities and cannot be used for offensive military action, as doing so would be inappropriate for a commercial company."

14 OctScreen cap of Telegraph article headline:

'Exclusive: Musk approached Trump to slow down Starlink in Ukraine.

SpaceX founder had publicly blamed President for chaos over restrictions, but sources say he initiated them.'

Have you at all assisted @POTUS or @SecRubio in the peace negotiations or are you PART of the problem??

Sikorski: Madam, as a neighbour of both Ukraine and Russia, we would be delighted to support @POTUS in peace negotiations. Please note, however, that to get to a deal pressure should be put on the aggressor and not on the victim of aggression.
