They’re live-streaming the execution of the person they think they can get away with doing that to first. It’s a test. If they can do that, they’ll expand the margins of permission.

I also believe - and this is what I said at Vox - that Dems come across as too weak or defensive on the issue. Esp when talking about abortion throughout pregnancy. Voters will respect them more if they stand ten toes down

The CDC just re-opened a previously shelved study that would withhold the hepatitis B vaccine from children in Guinea-Bissau, despite decades of evidence showing it is safe and effective. This is a violation of human rights, using “science” to harm some of the most vulnerable people in the world.

Flávio Bolsonaro’s advance in Brazil’s election is grim news for the climate.
Like Donald Trump, he favors maximizing profits for extractive industries, environment be damned.

It’s really remarkable to me that 10 years into this people feel compelled to “clarify” Trump’s homicidal and often genocidal fantasies. It is deranged for the president to daydream about American cities in states he hates getting blown up. Full stop.

Some know I refuse to use the term, "terf" as that feels like condoning that one can be trans-exclusionary as a feminist, which is fuckery, so I really appreciated Marlon James' "fart" acronym for Feminist Assuming Radical Transphobe, which I will most certainly be using generously in the future!🤣🤣🤣

If someone punches you in the face (violent assault, in other words), does the fact that you were drunk or high at the time create any doubt or mitigating circumstances in the eye of the law, or is that ONLY for rape?

Taken at face value, he's saying he stole hundreds of billions from the gov't, hid it somewhere Congress can't reach, and he pinky swears he will give you a piece. Really.
