I think it really depends on the context, ironically it’s far more important to avoid with models whose objective is to appear more human. If I say a coding agent “does” something, yeah adding a whole “it can’t actually…” is sort of tediously obfuscatory.

This is not at all necessary. Theorists who argue for degrowth have done unspeakable harm to the climate movement, and should be actively shunned from movement leadership. Green energy abundance is possible, and it will make us dramatically richer and more resilient, not poorer.
