I recently learned of DC Comics' character Halo, and now have TWO entries in my favorite category: "women who wear black costumes with bright accents, shoot energy beams, and have tragic, wild-ass backstories"

Halo from DC Comics, a white teenage girl with long blond hair, a black costume with red, yellow, blue, and white accents, and a single stripe each of red, yellow, and blue dyed hair on the left side of her head. Also: she gots Kirby dots!

Hell's Angel, or as she was later known, Dark Angel, running through the evil technowizard castle her Dad built. She wears a black costume with brightly-colored metallic accessories, including orange goggles with black lenses. A silver ankh symbol features prominently on her chest, because it was the 90s and we just did shit like that back then.

There's a secret 2nd Earth on the far side of the Sun where all the stuff folks who believe in the Mandela Effect have misremembered is actually true, but oddly, no Mandela Effect truthers are from there. That their faulty memory exactly matches Counter-Earth's reality is just a weird coincidence.
