Hey,
I'm not sure if it's known, but:
This picture represents the city of Baldur's Gate. But more precisely taken from the west and pointing east.
The shadows in this picture are from north to south.
Toril, the world on which Faerun is located has a 20" planetary tilt, similar to earth's 23,5
That means that north Tropic (cancer equivalent) would be on 20" north latitude.
But Baldur's Gate is located at 36,5" north.
