1200 words on a new project, either a short story or 30 volume series, not sure which yet. Piece is straying from the original intention, and if it strays more I may end up doing the original premise separately. They may be too close to each other, but these are only problems if you have readers.

The bit in Endgame about Tony Stark being foretold as the only one to stop Thanos feels lifted from the "save the cheerleader" bit from Heroes, and ended up being even less essential. Not sure why Frog-Man couldn't have sacrificed himself.

A four panel comic strip. Panel 1: a boy asks “Hey mom, what’s your favourite superhero?” Panel 2: “Oh I don’t know dear. Probably X-Man.” Panel 3: “Haha mom you’re so dumb and old. The X-Men is a team!” Panel 4: “Actually dear, I was talking about Nate Grey, the alternate universe Cable who took the name x-Man in his original run in ‘95. Read the comics you fucking casual.”

The traditional "clown music" was originally an ironic joke, a theme called "Entry of the Gladiators" by Julius Fucik, meant to heighten the silliness of the performers by undercutting a previously imposing score. I suggest therefore that modern clowns perform to "Bodies" by Drowning Pool.

Watching late 70s TV specials and the theme for almost every one is the good old days, coming home, nostalgia for youth when life was simpler. Don't know how much was a drive for nostalgia during periods of social strife and how much was using public domain music to save money.

The great thing about Mislaid Books is that I'll be able to offer super rare and 'lost' books, cared for and curated carefully - and they look good, but won't cost the earth. As someone who couldn't afford to read these kinds of books growing up, I want rare fiction to be available to all.
