This is the most visually appealing ad I’ve seen in ages. Holy schneikies it’s glorious 🤩 and very progressive for the 1920s considering who that lady is snuggling with! I guess it was floral (1 drop = 5 pounds of flowers ) but you’re gonna get lucky 😉 (no guarantees) Long live Jambi #VintageAds

Sears catalogs never get old for me. Love ‘em. The first one is pretty racy for 1956. The young lady is pondering her choice of Elvis, Perry or Eddie for her free 45 to go with her record undies. The second one is the infamous 1975 “The Man on Page 602.” Zoom. You’ll see #SearsCatalog #VintageAds

It’s 1932, the depth of the Depression, yet apparently there’s still a market for knick knacks if this Sears catalog is to be believed. Pig salt and pepper shakers would certainly cheer up a meager table and make you forget your woes #VintageAds #SearsCatalog 1932

It’s the summer of 1981 and you find yourself in Dayton, Ohio. Wondering what kind of fun can be had, you buy the local newspaper and open the entertainment section. Oh. My. God. The Kenley Players (at Memorial Hall) have a virtual cornucopia of star-studded entertainment! I’m gonna see Ed Ames

I learned how to cook with Crisco, as did my mom. It makes a fine pie crust and the best fried chicken. I’m okay with these 1934 recipes, although “digestible cheese pastry” sounds a little off-putting. Nevertheless , I’d gladly eat all of these 🍽️ #VintageAds #VintageRecipes

Kool-Aid (originally Kool-Ade) was invented by some chemist nerd in Kansas in 1927. The smiling pitcher became the brand image in 1957, but Kool-Aid Man didn’t start busting doors until 1975. Funny Face (1964-1994) was a knockoff drink mix from Pillsbury that never really caught on #VintageAds
