In the early hours of this morning the internet was stolen from my town. Shops and businesses closed early. People started writing cash is king on the local facebook group. It hasn't rained in 46 days, it's always hot, and there was the eclipse. I am sure this is how a dystopian film starts.

Reasonable chance in my opinion London sees hottest day of year next Thursday. High thirties are feasible… especially due to how parched it is and how warm seas are after many weeks of high temperatures. At Heathrow 36.4C on 26/06 to beat which is not wild for such an extraordinary summer.
