University of Michigan today. The most tipping-point image I've seen to exemplify our fascist descent. And the surrender was won with the weapon of false antisemitism charges against people protesting genocide--making administrations complicit in genocide. A moral nadir. This is how republics die.

Michael Tracey published what he said was the ID of the "Jane Doe" in the Cornell case. Then he took it down, claiming he just wanted to make a point and didn't want to see harm to the person he named. What he hasn't admitted is that he mistook info on a sketchy site for official NY court records.
An archived copy of Michael Tracey's original Substack post includes a screenshot from "eCourt Records" and the commentary: "It's [name redacted]. Don't blame me -- the New York Court System just posted it. Seemingly inadvertently. Oh well."Screenshot of Michael Tracey's post on Substack titled "Note on Jane Doe." It reads: "After identifying Jane Doe earlier tonight, I have now removed the information I published. Why? Because the principle has been served: to underscore that permanently anonymizing litigants who make sensational, spectacular, reputation-destroying claims about others — so long as they can self-declare some form of victimization — cannot be countenanced.

It’s destructive, and an egregious abuse of the legal system by huckster plaintiff’s lawyers. This practice has to end. Lawyers who seek to monetize this sleazy tactic should have to think A LOT HARDER about the claims they’re willing to throw out into the public domain, using impressionable clients who may not even know what they’re getting themselves into.

So why have I now removed her information?

Because I don’t believe she’s the main “villain” here. I primarily blame the bottom-feeding, media-manipulating, sleazebag lawyers who’ve made a whole cash-grab industry out of this racket.

Thomas Giuffra in particular has a lot to answer for. He’s the central reason for the current debacle.

Given the intense nationwide and global interest in this case, I don’t want to bring any further negative attention to this woman. I don’t believe she ought to be punished or subjected to any retribution or humiliation. I believe a RATIONAL solution is necessary here. Not more character assassination — of her, the seven young men, or anyone else. Truly, that is my genuine view."

Gears games had pride flags in 2019, but the people who monetize rage bait don't want their audience to know that -- maybe they don't even know that themselves, because they don't do research; they just react. If more people recognized they're getting played for revenue, we'd be in a better spot.

The critiques of this film from the left+Palestinians come from a position of pain, but are inaccurate & not helpful.

The median Trump voter
Nick Pinto, a 26-year-old crypto investor, said he invested $450,000 in the Trump meme coin and the value of his investments is down to roughly $50,000. He said he was disappointed by the first dinner last year, as Trump was there for "no more" than 20 minutes and did not take photos
with the crypto holders. The steak was only 5 ounces and "not something you'd get at a steakhouse in New York," he said.
Pinto also said that, if it was an option, he could see himself voting for Trump again. He plans on attending the upcoming dinner.
"I hope the food is better this time," he said.

This is such an astoundingly, fascinatingly, bad piece to run. Fun to watch author's foolishness and extreme bias take the reader down twisting defenses and red herrings designed to defuse what he felt was too harsh criticism of a person he looks up to. Also: it's run as article and not opinion.

i hate our evil pedophile president so much and his hopefully extremely painful and embarrassing death will be a top 5 day in my life.
"Last week, you said you might annihilate Iran. That was the word you used.

Yeah, I would do that. It's possible.

You've made versions of that threat before. You've also called yourself the president of peace.

Yeah.

How can the president of peace be calling for the annihilation of an entire people?

Because by annihilating Iran, we've created peace in the world. With Iran, I don't think you could ever have peace.

Are you talking specifically about the government, the Islamic Republic regime? What about the innocent people?

They killed 75,000 people in the last number of months. Protesters, innocent [unintelligible], a lot of very good people. They killed 70, anywhere from 72 to 75,000. We all documented. They went on Brett Baier the other day and they lied about it. They said 3,000. Brett Bair said, “You got to be kidding, me!” No, they killed 75,000 people. It's unbelievable. It's a bloodbath. So we'll see. And the reason people don't rise up, because they're afraid of being killed. You know, they go out in the street and they end up killing 1,000 people, 2,000, sometimes less. They use snipers to go right through their head, and when—remember the women went, they had 500,000 women, and then they started getting hit by snipers right in the middle of their head? The women looked and they saw that, then they saw another one, and they ran like hell."

President Trump's demands for Fox propaganda are getting even more bizarre and extreme.
Why does FoxNews always put Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Jessica Tarlov, and every Democrat on, saying bad things about the Republican Party and, of course, me? I actually think they get more airtime than Pro Republicans. This is why MAGA, and REAL Patriots, will never like Fox! They repeat a completely negative narrative, on and on it goes, and then we get a quick retort. It’s truly amazing that I won all three Elections. The opposition is enormous, but the fight goes on! President DONALD J. TRUMPSchumer does not appear in Media Matters’ database of Fox News weekday appearances, which dates to August 2017.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) has made at least 5 appearances on Fox weekday shows since November 2018, with the most recent airing in January of this year.
Fox’s Jessica Tarlov is the Democratic host tasked with matching up against four conservatives at once on the network’s weekday panel show, The Five. She made 2 guest appearances on other Fox shows in September; conservative co-hosts Jesse Watters, Greg Gutfeld, and Dana Perino all have separate weekday Fox shows of their own.
In September, weekday appearances on Fox News by congressional Republicans and Trump administration officials outnumbered appearances by congressional Democratic guest appearances by 148 to 7.
