I've got a comic in this one with art by the brilliant @lanedraws.bsky.social, wherein all the world's cryptids meet up to discuss secret and incredibly important cryptid business like whether it's appropriate for Yeti to rip Bigfoot's bean bags off with his bare hands. (Turns out it's not!)

I will also add that I think it takes tremendous bravery to be trans, and that living your best life is a net positive for the world, and the best comics are about being the best you you can be. So of course I would love trans people, like I love my favorite superheroes.

Trans rights is inherently a bodily autonomy issue. Just like abortion rights is. We can't have gender equity or reproductive freedom without trans rights. Full stop. You can yell at me and make up shit that you claim I've said if it makes you feel better. I don't care. I'm right. And you know it.

The only relevant or meaningful things I have say today are a quote and two images: "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Captain America holding the American flag and saying, "I'm loyal to nothing, General--except the dream."Three panels from Garth Ennis' Preacher:

Panel 1: Jesse: "Don't do this! Don't be so fuckin' crazy! You gotta get outta the sun...!
Cassidy: "I'll tell yeh the funny thing about America, Jesse. An' I should know, I've spent most've a century seein' it."
Panel 2: Cassidy: "It's a brilliant fuckin' place. If yeh're smart about it, it'll give yeh everything."
Panel 3: Cassidy: "But, Jaysis, it'd wear yeh out."

If “we need to do this to win Texas” means throwing away human rights for all then no, Texas is not worth winning. If it wouldn’t be moral to do it in Mississippi in 1962 then it’s not ok in Texas in 2026. Under any circumstances.
