A little bit of garlic soup making, well, garlic soup! 🍲🍜

Jim handled the knifework. Olu handled the recipe. Archie handled eating ingredients before they reached the pot while Zheng, naturally, took a directorial role.
“More garlic,” she announced.
“There are twelve cloves in there!” Olu said.
“Coward.”
Jim slid three more beneath their blade to crush.
By the time the garlic had softened the galley was thick with the aroma. Archie leant against Jim, while Zheng stole Olu’s spoon to taste test. Olu pretended annoyance at being overruled on not just garlic but coriander, chilli and lemongrass.
They crowded around one bowl, and Archie tasted it.
“Needs something,” she said.
"Oh?" Jim asked.
So Archie kissed Jim, who kissed Olu, who kissed Zheng. Zheng, smiling, reached for the salt.
“Thats it!"

Revisiting one of my favorite cross stitch projects, on this the anniversary of our season two

A cross stitch project on black Aida framed in a sort of soft triangular wooden hoop on a background of black and white skulls, the project is the s2 promo image of Ed and Stede’s faces making a heart and a skull with a sword and a rose through them in black and white, and in hot pink it says Our Flag Means Death

Stede is wearing TW’s grey and pink silk jacket with creamy colored trousers and Ed is wearing RO’s black lace dress from the 2023 Met Gala. A digital illustration of a frame shot from Our Flag Means Death. The image is of Stede grasping onto Ed before he pulls him in for a kiss. There is a golden arch way above them with a single flame, shining light between them. Ed is glowing with pinks that transitions into dark purples. Stede has golds and pinks for his silhouette. Surrounding them is a night sky with twinkling stars that arrange from purples and pinks while the bottom half of the image is pink dreamy, billowy clouds.
