With incredible timing we got a sunset rainbow directly over the inn site 😍 You can see the inn site by the white plaque on the bench that’s reflecting the sun.

@innkeepersweek.bsky.social #innkeepersweek Frenchie had an idea for the inn to sell "Poste-cards" to guests. Stede asked Lucius for his help but deemed his designs too lewd, so they went with Frenchie's designs. Ed loves the bell, and the keys. Well, the key. (There is still only one room). #ofmd

Small embroidery of innkeepers Ed & Stede.
Also in the frame are (2) chandeliers, a lighthouse painting, hanging seaglass decorations, a tabletop bell, a large key, a book and quill, a plant and Frenchie's latest moneymaking idea.

I sorely need to up my #SpanishJackie game, but my gorgeous sadistic queen does appear in my tribute to the most excruciating game of Twister ever played! 😈🫶 Read The Ex-House by @caladria.bsky.social here: archiveofourown.org/works/64147240 #OFMDfanart #OFMDfic

Close-up crop showing Jackie acting as Puppet Master and controlling the spinner for the most excruciating game of Twister ever played. Based on a scene from caladria's AU fic The Ex-House.

Full illustration of a scene from Chapter 5 of The Ex-House, styled to look like the original 1960’s box art of the game Twister. Stede and Ed are on the mat, reluctantly playing the game. Stede is on all fours with Ed above him about to slap down his right hand on a new color. Ed looks emotionally hurt/pissed-off. Stede looks emotionally hurt/anxious/worried. Jackie is on the left controlling the spinner and boldly laughing. A nameless member of the camera crew is gleefully filming the whole thing.

Text from the box art:

Ok, look. I did this in about an hour whilst my children were annoying me so I can’t promise it’ll be any good.

God it’s annoying to hear you like this,
Whinging on like a whiney old bitch.
You’re flopping around like a sad, old, wet fish
So, I’m taking control of the sitch.

There’s literally no-one quite like you, Stede Bonnet,
You’re the only captain we’d want.
The crew would be quite shit if you weren’t on it,
Even if you can be a real cunt!

No one steals like Stede Bonnet!
Wears high heels like Stede Bonnet!
No one’s wears so much fantastic teal as Stede Bonnet!

There’s no other captain as well dressed,
Silks, frills and lace never wrong.
You can ask Pete, Roach, Jim and the rest,
And they'll tell you whose crew they prefer to be on.

No one reads like Stede Bonnet!
Does cool deeds like Stede Bonnet!
Makes Capt’n Blackbeard weak at the knees like Stede Bonnet!

As a Captain I am rather inspiring.

Give five “hurrahs!”
Give twelve “what-what’s!”
Stede Bonnet’s the best,
And the rest are all twats!

No one raids like Stede Bonnet!
Does Ed’s braids like Stede Bonnet!
Waited years to get properly laid like Stede Bonnet!

For there's no one as clever and charming,
And my biceps are naturally large!
Not a bit of him’s shy and retiring,
(That's right!)
And that’s why I’m naturally better in charge!

No one loots like Stede Bonnet!
Shines his boots like Stede Bonnet!
No one constantly misuses fruit like Stede Bonnet!

Barely tasted of orange if that’s consolation!

When I was a boy I liked to pick flowers,
Every day to my father’s dismay.
And now that I’m grown I’m a pirate - wowzers!
But he’d be most distraught ‘cause I’m gay!

No one fucks like Stede Bonnet!
Likes to suck like Stede Bonnet!
Has absurd, inexplicable luck like Stede Bonnet!

My pirating skills are illuminating!

Say it again.
Who's a man among men?
And then say it once more.
Who will give you a tour?
Who's a super success?
Don't you know? Can't you guess?
Ask his fans and his five hangers-on.
There's just one guy on board who's got all of it down,
And his name’s S-T-E-E-
S-T-E-E-D
S-T-E-A-D-
STEDE BONNET!
