Cyberpunk had me believe we'd be using jargon like "cred-chips" and "cyberdecks" in the 2020s. Instead, late-stage capitalism has given us a timeline where surrealist sentences like "12,284 HIMS accumulated inside BONER liquidity" are completely coherent...and something I just read and understood.
