This graph shows two things, 1) obviously that the cameras reduced speeding, but 2) that the improvement kept getting better over time. Speeders tend to get one or two tickets and then learn and change their behaviour. This isn't a cash grab, it's an extremely useful intervention.

here’s a crazy fact: under congestion pricing, NYC subway ridership grew by more than the *total* number of riders on BART last year
The first year of congestion pricing in New York saw straphangers take more than 90 million additional subway rides than in the previous year, a new report from the Permanent Citizens Advisory Committee to the MTA (PCAC) found.
According to the rider advocacy group's analysis, which it released on Tuesday, ridership on the city's rails grew from 1.21 billion to 1.3 billion between 2024 and 2025. The bump marked a 7.7% rise - double the increase in ridership between 2023 and
2024.

The reviews used to justify this excluded nearly 97% of all studies from inclusion in their analysis. This is an absolutely obscene hatchet job by the NHS specifically created to eliminate access to hormones for trans youth.
"A data table summarizing the results of a literature review on various hormone therapy interventions for binary and non-binary groups. It lists ten intervention categories, detailing the number of full texts assessed, studies included, and studies excluded for each. The bottom row shows a total of 547 texts assessed, 17 studies included, and 530 studies excluded."

In Soup There Is No East Or West
Lyrics adapted by Scoops. Traditional spiritual melody arr. Harry T Burleigh, 1909

In Soup there is no Easy or West, in Soup no South or North, but one great fellowship of love throughout the whole wide earth

Join hands, then neighbors of the broth, whate'er your taste may be! Who serves their neighbor of their pot is surely kin to me!
