my biggest delight of this year has been setting aside time to write fiction. so far i've written about 40k words, by the end of the year i hope to have about 60k words! it's been so fun, and i think i've gotten better at it too! (it would also be ok if i'm wrong and i haven't gotten better)

LRT: learning to ride a bike as an adult was one of the most meaningful and life changing things to happen to me. i love bikes so much, and being able to ride one has made me enjoy life more. i love the feeling of freedom it gives me! i've had so many fun adventures on bikes

one of my issues with trying to sleep early is that it's kind of like a meeting—when i have a meeting scheduled, i can't get anything done until after the meeting bc i feel sure that if i jumped into something i'd hyperfocus on the thing and lose track of time and then miss the meeting
