Being a cartoonist sometimes implies taking time off your graphic novel just so you can draw something else for once. Retro sci-fi/cassette futurism, especially of the anime kind, is very nostalgic to me.

Coyote vs. Acme (2026) is both a really delightful philosophical take on the constant struggle for justice for the exploited and powerless and a powerful takedown of a corporate Goliath that spits on the animated simply because it can. And so is the story. WB really fucked up shelving THIS film.
