![A 4-panel comic. I'm on the phone on all panels but I progressively become more aggravated and cry, and my kids hug me in the last panel. The narration reads "[My oldest] ended up telling me what happened at school. There was a mix-up and during recess her teacher threw all of her portfolio in the trash. That's a whole sketchbook, 50 pages of a comic she'd made, a mechanical pencil and leads that belonged to my late grandfather, and blending stumps. Fortunately they were able to fish out all the drawings from the trash, but my kid had understandably cried and got bullied for it.
