I ran an acorn foraging workshop today for a colleague’s food history class! Knowing some students would inevitably come face to face with their first acorn weevil while cracking nuts, I made a few little pins as prizes for weevil-finding 🐛

There's a type of fine artist who especially exists in academics, who hates narrative in art. They believe that any art that's trying to tell a story is a kind of propaganda. That shit is wild to me. Telling each other stories is one of the most ancient things we do.
