Best thing about having a dog is going into a pub with the dog and being the man alone in the pub with a dog

Use ALT text. It's relatively easy to do, you can set Bluesky to not allow you to post pics without it, and you can easily search up best practices for it. The added bonus is that you're more likely to get more engagement as well.

The most stunningly pretty red tree. Bright blue sky, green tree behind it on the left and and slightly sparser green green in front of it. I’m so sorry this isn’t a better description.

I like to think I did my bit for this by strongly suggesting that my autism assessors read it. Also you should read it. Yeah, you. AND the audiobook version is splendid if you cannot be arsed to read a book and want to have a chuckle while you are eg washing the dishes or driving to Alton Towers.

Suella Braverman selling 106 copies of her book after all that publicity is so delicious.
Crack 'em while you can, though, because Suella's star might just be on the skids. Despite plugging her book on Question Time, on Tim Shipman's Spectator podcast, in serialised excerpts in the Daily Mail, and in a fawning interview with Allison Pearson in the Telegraph, in its opening weekend, Patriot sold precisely 106 copies.

As someone who left Labour for the Greens in 2022, I can tell you I will not be going back whilst the Labour party supports genocide, is openly transphobic, terrorises disabled people, wants the planet to burn and keeps talking about the “legitimate concerns” of racist mobs. So never then?

I love the idea of the banknotes. Much better than Churchill and the monarchy (I am not a fan of either)... but the photos and mock up the BBC used is laughable. Guardian photos are better - I hope the design will be beautiful. Also, FOX WAS ROBBED. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

Graphic design is my passion
According to the description this image is "Mock-ups of the new Bank of England banknotes featuring all four winners" from the BBC Website and credited to "BANKOF ENGLAND/PA WIRE" and honest to god, it's one of the sittest things I've ever seen. It's 4 basic outlines of a note that look like they were done in Word Art, with 4 really very rubbish photos of the 4 winning animals.

Sometimes my wife and I like to send each other text messages as though they’re democratic fundraising messages, and I believe she has produced the jewel of the form.
, it's
and I
have some personal news to share with you.
Being a mom is one of the greatest joys of my life, and I feel deeply that we should have salad tonight
This year has been challenging in many ways, and I have immense gratitude for the kindness and support of family, community, and people like you who have continued to stand by me through everything. It means the world, and I wanted you to be among the first to know that squash is in the oven and kale is in the fridge. As many of you are aware, ve been navigating one of the most challenging periods of my day while waiting for dinner.
Facing baseless federal hunger brought on by not eating since lunch, fighting for the working kids of this country, and now caring for a mean toddler and helping him grow up in a world that isn't always easy. But it has also reminded me exactly why I do this work and who I do it for.
I will never stop working to eat dinner. I will never stop fighting for what is right, even when there is also some feta in the fridge. And I will never stop being so very thankful that you are by my side in this important work and that there is tahini in the pantry for dressing
With love and gratitude,
stop to end

I predict we'll need gyms for our brains too, once Al
