Our pensioners are at present, even under the triple lock considerably worse off than our fellow Europeans- & many others. Why is it always pensions & welfare benefits that are singled out? Bring in a wealth tax to fund the national social care service. ##labourisntlabouranymore

This scandal shows there are many who don’t expect us to live rich lives – and that paternalism lives on in disability services, says Guardian columnist Frances Ryan

£5million for his security and Farage pretends he’s been threatened and won’t turn up to thank the people who managed his monstrous tantrum by-election, staying up through the night counting votes… or the voters who let him get away with his gross abuse of power. From start to end, an epic disgrace.

🌞 Hot Weather Reminder 🌞 If you're taking antidepressants or antipsychotics, your body might struggle to regulate heat. Stay cool, drink water, find shade 🌳 #Summer #Weather
The image is a hot weather reminder emphasising the importance of staying cool for individuals taking antidepressants or antipsychotics, as these medications can impair the body’s ability to regulate heat.

It advises:

Stay cool

Drink plenty of water

Find shade if you can

It ends with a call to share this message to help others stay safe.

It's obvious to point out attacks against Muslims get ignored - but still needs repeatedly calling out. An Antisemitic attack should be reported and action taken. But where is the same media outrage, cobra meetings and calling of national emergency when 5 Muslims are attacked?

17 people died trying to cool off in extreme, record breaking May heat. Farage’s reaction? Nothing, his plan is to reverse climate change legislation & drill for more oil. 1 man is murdered by a Sikh. His reaction? We should react with “pure cold rage” It’s not about saving life, it’s about racism.

Yes your taxes should support disabled people. They should support homeless people. They should support those living in poverty, children and the elderly. This is literally the purpose of taxes, and I would far rather support those who need it than continue to enrich the elite.
