A colleague who’s a horticultural expert kindly gave me some small houseplants a few weeks back. Really small but they seem to be thriving on the kitchen window sill. I’m insanely proud I’ve not managed to kill them yet. (Yes those are Ghibli kodama figures.) #bloomscrolling

Rewatched one of my favourite Disney films The Aristocats at the weekend. Ages surprisingly well, apart from at least one dodgy racial stereotype in the jazz band. Although for half of it I had the sinking feeling “oh no, is this the one with the Siamese cats?”

It’s depressing but sadly unsurprising that a common reaction to hearing of a gang rape at a frat house is “well maybe that’s just what sometimes happens at frat houses”. I just can’t help wondering if frat houses are inherently dangerous places and we should just ban them?

Finally got round to watching The Batman last night. Really fascinating Year One type story. The cast is excellent all round but especially Pattinson. I love that most of the film is him & Gordon being detectives. Not sure how rewatchable it is but I love it.
