It’s so insidious. And that’s also why I think men defend it 322579455

Steve Andrew @steveandrew.bsky.social · 28/09/2026A few weeks ago at Leamington Pride I saw a strange advert for the local police and I’m not sure what message it was meant to convey. “We can’t be everywhere but we could be anywhere”. The mood whiplash between self-deprecating and incredibly sinister was intense. 000
Steve Andrew @steveandrew.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Just watched #Heartstopper Forever. Fantastic, faithful adaptation of the book. But it really raised expectations of what school friendships should have been like. I had a few friends when I was young in the 80s but we were never that close! Or I was more autistic than I remember? 000

Steve Andrew @steveandrew.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I don’t know if any Americans follow me but this is something my wife and I noticed at a restaurant and we wondered if it was universal. When you have dinner do you cut everything up at the start then just use a fork for the rest of the meal? Or do you use knife and fork throughout the meal? 000

Steve Andrew @steveandrew.bsky.social · 23/09/2026This is so cool! One of my favourite genres of video is seeing voice actors behind the scenes. They always put in a much more physical performance than the characters they're playing! And whoever decided Hibi should be a space scouser is a genius. Brilliant. 😀 000
Steve Andrew @steveandrew.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Recently finished Aslan Moore’s The Great When. The intro is very poetic and wordy but once I was past that it built to something incredible. All the characters are wonderful (even the nasty ones) and I swear I could hear the dialogue! Best of all, there’s going to be four more in the series! 000
