I'm not one to get caught up in video game sales data at all. But boy do I hope Control Resonant sells well. What Remedy has been creating as a studio are some of the most artistically interesting and exciting games coming out of the AAA games industry, and I dearly hope they can keep it up.

With the recalcs I’m also curious if css containment has any positive impact. That was a thing I wanted to see stencil have back in the day since adding the style tag would trigger expensive recalcs but using the constructae/adoptedStylesheets significantly improved recalc/restyles.

The $111 billion deal would hand one family control over CNN, HBO and Warner Bros., backed in part by foreign money whose influence on editorial decisions has never been fully explained to the public.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have called for serious national security review, and regulators still haven’t given the public a real answer. Until they do, the merger shouldn’t move forward. Now is the time to dive boldly into all these issues, not step back or concede.
