It's an INVASION please. How is the EU backing Ukraine stoutly if at all? They spent this week when so many civilians and children died daily, focusing on what crops Ukraine (who they will not let in the EU or NATO) is allowed to plant/sell. Just looking the other way.

Maybe the most amazing aspect of the Russo-Ukraine War is that Russia is getting backing from both China and the USA, the two largest powers of the moment--and Ukraine could still emerge triumphant as long as Europe backs it stoutly.

Russian missiles are attacking Kyiv. Trump thanks Putin for the deal. Buying Russian diesel will not solve the US fuel problems. It is at most a short-term psychological tactic aimed at easing gas station prices ahead of the elections. The main beneficiary of this deal is Russia.

It's quite simple, when the weather is like this, it just means we burn way less expensive, imported gas to keep the lights on. One day it will also mean our electricity is MUCH cheaper #breakthelink

Russian strikes killed over 80 Ukrainian civilians in two days. Moreover, it has stepped up its hybrid attacks against Europe, both EU Member States and NATO Allies. Suspending sanctions on Russian diesel provides Moscow with more revenues to wage war.

As I said in June 2024 www.wheresyoured.at/rotcombubble/
I believe we're at the end of the Rot-Com boom — the tech industry's hyper-growth cycle where there were so many lands to conquer, so many new ways to pile money into so many new, innovative ideas that it felt like every tech company could experience perpetual growth simply by throwing money at the problem.

It explains why so many tech products — YouTube, Google Search, Facebook, and so on — feel like they’ve got tangibly worse. There’s no incentive to improve the things you’ve already built when you’re perpetually working on the next big thing.

This belief — that exponential growth is not just a reasonable expectation, but a requirement — is central to the core rot in the tech industry, and as these rapacious demands run into reality, the Rot-Com bubble has begun to deflate. As we speak, the tech industry is grappling with a mid-life crisis where it desperately searches for the next hyper-growth market, eagerly pushing customers and businesses to adopt technology that nobody asked for in the hopes that they can keep the Rot Economy alive.

Plant-rich diets are the food system's electrification. Petrol cars only see 18-25% of their fuel energy get to the wheels; EVs 87-91%. Heat pumps are 2 or 3 times more efficient. Food has its own combustion engine: a chicken turns about 13% of its feed calories into food, worse than a petrol car.
