I would assume this is because the individual doing this cares more for the outcome, than the journey. They are not doing fantasy football to play a game, they are doing it to win money. The consequence of gambling being rampant across sports and now everything else...

If you want to know who survives AI, look at what happened to Hollywood in the 1970s.

Movie Studios used to enforce tight “shooting ratios”; usually 5:1, maybe 10:1 TOPS. As in, for every 5 feet of film shot, at least 1 foot had to end up in the final cut (35mm was expensive!)

Holy cow "government’s huge subsidization of this project – up to 90 per cent of a $40-billion pipeline with ownership split evenly between Ottawa and Edmonton – ....." What kind of a deal is that? esp cuz we're subsidizing the past world of energy markets www.theglobeandmail.com/business/com...

Opinion: Is it really a good idea for the government to subsidize a pipeline?
Designating the West Coast pipeline as a project of national interest exposes a global reality: Fossil fuels haven’t just lost to clean energy – they’ve already lost

Could we please stop framing climate action as a left/right issue. It’s just a big issue that all politicians need to grapple with. Both a massive cost/risk & huge economic opportunity with clean energy transition (with big risk of stranded fossil fuel assets).

Calculated as close as possible our trip from Vancouver to Vancouver. Over 7220 km ( I put the lowest amount I could confirm since I forgot to set the odometer before...) and we saved ~350 CAD compared to gas in BC. That means we have saved about ~8000 dollars over the last 3 years of ownership...
The Charging Summary which outlines the total liters saved (577.60), emissions saved (1297.80 kg CO^2), total cost (780.66 CAD) and more. Photo of the Network breakdown for the Yukon trip.

Workers are losing their right to strike and Canada is being sold for parts so naturally Canada’s columnist class is focused on what really matters: Why the only prominent progressive voice in politics right now is Evil for criticizing a literal genocide
Robyn Urback, sharing her Globe op-ed, writes: “Avi Lewis' foolish statement should be disqualifying for the leader of a major political party.
However, because he is leader of the NDP, and because his target was Jews, it very well could boost his internal support by five points.”Gary Mason, another prominent Globe and Mail columnist, shares Robyn’s post and writes: “This is the best and most important piece I have read today. My colleague nails it. I hope Avi Lewis reads it and responds appropriately.”Stephen Maher, sharing Robyn’s op-Ed (which is titled ‘Opinion: Avi Lewis's foolish statement on 'Jewish people' should be disqualifying’) writes: “I think Lewis is in many ways impressive, and Carney is creating conditions for an NDP revival, but I must agree with this.”
