"BRITAIN BECOMES DUMP FOR THE NAXI EXILES. Scores of Jews and other exiles are being smuggled into England in small foreign ships, for £25 a time." Daily Mirror, 1938. Sound familiar?
Headline: Britain becomes dump for the Nazi exilesSCORES of Jews and other exiles, abandoning their homes in the Nazi terror, are being smuggled into England by the captains of small foreign ships who slink inside the three-mile limit at night and put ashore their human cargoes for £25 a time.
This smuggling, once sporadic, is now a racket earning thousands of pounds weekly for captains of French, Dutch and Belgian trawlers.
It was exposed entirely at Hove, yesterday when two foreign seamen were gaoled for smuggling a German in at Shoreham harbour last Monday.
Britain's immigration officers are helpless. They know that Hitler is dumping his unwanted people here. They cannot stop other Mid-European Governments seizing on Britain's lethargy to lower their own unemployment figures.
Every day refugee Spaniards, Jews, Ger mans and Austrians are slipping into Britain Employment agencies are inundated by fran-tic appeals from foreigners who, scared by European unrest, want British security.

How Do I Tell if an Area is Loyalist or Republican?

Loyalist areas, just watch out for Union and Ulster flags. Orange and Crimson banners are ours as well. Kerbstones painted Red White and Blue are another sign. Unfortunately, you’ll occasionally see Israeli flags too. That doesn’t mean people are actual Zionists, they only put them up because the left-wing Republicans fly Palestinian ones! Republican areas have tricolours, although nothing like on the scale of our flag displays.

Look, I know there is a lot wrong with this paragraph (from the empty prose, to the mispelling of names, the bad grammar, the historical inaccuracies, and beyond), but also, the evidence that is contemporary to Cleopatra is that she wasn't hot hot. Her wit and charm was what made her attractive.
Roman bust of Cleopatra

From the Enclopedia Brittanica:
Cleopatra VII in Marble: The ‘Berlin Cleopatra,' c. 50–38 BCE
A marble portrait bust of Cleopatra VII (c. 50–38 BCE), known as the “Berlin Cleopatra,” third quarter of the 1st century BCE. In the collection of the Altes Museum, Berlin. The queen is depicted wearing a low diadem; her face is framed by ringlets, with the remainder of her hair carved in segmented “melon” ridges and gathered into a bun. The almond-shaped eyes, prominent nose, and softly modulated features have been praised for reflecting Cleopatra's renowned intelligence and allure.Cleopatra VII
