We love Jim Cummings and his can-do attitude, but don't forget the short was done for $6k, and the THUNDER ROAD Feature began when he had a spare $50k and his friend ALSO had a spare $50k and was willing to give ALL of it to Cummings for the film. That is not a typical situation for anyone I know 🤷

Being an indie filmmaker you quickly realise how often you're competing w/ppl who annually have a spare $50k-$90k at their disposal to make thier independent features and multiple shorts per year, while you're there struggling to put together $5k to make one short every 18 months if you're lucky.

Finished ADULTS season 2. A perfect season of a comedy show. Haven't fallen in love with a 1/2hr comedy this much for a very very long time. Brilliant character dynamics, great writing, great performances and *just* the right tonal balance of sincere/absurd. My HIGHEST recommendation for this one
