This is how I feel when I hate listen to The Town occasionally. The ultimate goal seems to be make nothing and pay no one (except executives) while bringing in vast amounts of dough forever. Anything less is a failure no matter how much of a success.

Watched Village of the Damned, for the first time in MANY years, and it’s better than I remembered. I know Carpenter remade it once, but kind of like Body Snatchers, I think this is a concept I’d like to see more iterations of. Someone get Karyn Kusama and co on a new version, please.

Today’s performance that’s been overlooked and under recognized outside of horror fans: Margot Kidder as Barb in Black Christmas.
A dimly lit scene shows a young woman with dark brown hair and bangs holding a gray telephone receiver to her ear. She wears a black choker and a light-colored top with dark trim. Her face is partially in shadow, and she looks downward with a serious, pensive expression. Behind her is a red and blue circular target-style poster with partially visible lettering, including “ARIES.” The image has a dark, cinematic color palette.
