I relate to this so much. When I got any type of power I would aggressively instil solidarity through implementation of communal chores. I was not liked, perhaps hated but the lab would run better. inpreparation.substack.com/p/opinion-to...

The ideal IMS in front of a qtof needs two things. 1. A meaningful separation accross the relevant mass range in the time it takes to acquire that mass range. 2. Be able to collect and handle the ion population generated during that time. No one is close to handling point 2.
