First of all, the doctors say I’m in tremendous health. They’ve never seen health like this. One doctor, very respected, one of the top blood doctors, he does blood all day, he said, ‘Sir, your blood is unbelievable.’ And I said, I know. I’ve always had very successful blood.

“Dangerous Gain of Function” policy from the feds is real tough to comply with when they haven’t quite said what the policy is yet. This might mean it’s not written yet.

"Our city doesn't have a Superman." In that universe Superman sucks! If Superman has powers beyond leaping over tall buildings, Superman has a responsibility to the whole planet!

There's a huge problem with modern bulbs and their color temperatures : you walk into your garage in the late afternoon and think, "Oh, this is a dead space."

It's funny how people can see through acts named things like the Think Of The Children On The Internet Act or the Make Every Voter Rich Act, but as soon as the GOP calls one the Help Ukraine And Hurt Russia Act, somehow those lessons drain out of people's memory immediately

being a spy these days must be really annoying. There aren't copies of the New York Times in every public trashcan so it's actually way harder to figure out your one time pad key by taking the cross product of the horoscopes and crossword answers without blowing your cover

"They must see if they conform to the roles or if morality wins." Morality wins if they don't conform to the roles. That is true! I'm wondering whether they let the group of 30 participants negotiate the rules of the prison for both guards and prisoners before knowing which role anyone would have.

Your regular reminder: If the Russians stop fighting, the war ends. If the Ukrainians stop fighting, their land will be occupied, their leaders will be killed, their history and language will be erased, their children will be kidnapped to serve Russia.

"Join or Die with Craig Ferguson" put Joseph Stalin in the gangster ep rather than the tyrant ep. TIFO: only 20 of the 22 aired episodes are available on Amazon Prime for purchase. One of the missing episodes is available on Apple TV for purchase (the only one on Apple). And the last is lost media.

finally, a take both sides can disagree with
I'm not opposed to the use of flock cameras for solving murders or prosecuting gangs that break into famous athletes houses while they're on the road.

I am opposed to speed cameras that punish me for a lead foot like I'm a fucking lemming. I view that speed limit as a guideline.

Most of the benefit of the military academies has been that the officer corps gets a quality education. Replacing academic rigor with ideological indoctrination will produce ideologically-reliable but professionally less competent officers. That's...not good for the military or the nation
