I’ve come to realize that since I joined Bluesky, I’m most active in September, for the Mineral Cup. And I just repost here, like I did on X, and on FB. I don’t think it’s weird or anything, just a thought that occurred to me.

Considering the element ‘strings’ I was playing with from over the weekend, simple is GREAT. I purchased new minerals and am learning about them. Some are very complex, like Pumpellyite (group) - likely my complex mineral.

Graphite all the way! My fav occurrence of graphite is when you get big flakes of it in marble. The remnants of former life, transformed back to its elemental form. It's a beautiful example of how geology is the ultimate recycler.
