Hello Bone Colleagues,
I have invented a new type of ankle and I'm very excited to show it to you. Early raccoon trials suggest a 60% increase in scurrying speed and dramatic increases in fine motor banditry. I know we are not supposed to create super raccoons, but I think you'll change your mind and professional ethics when you see how cute they are. I believe we are on the cusp of a new era in advanced human scurrying because if medical science has taught me anything, it's that improvements in raccoons correspond 1:1 to improvements in humans.

I participated in some public library ai courses. I’m telling you that the state of literacies and the complexity of lives deeply enmeshed in the bowels of late stage capitalism cannot find a use case for an agent & if they could, people don’t have the scaffolding to imagine one that could be useful

In practice, AI literacy doesn’t start with building the tool for your personal use. It starts with understanding yourself as a collection of tasks who should subcontract those out to a machine. Almost no regular person’s life currently exists as such.

Anyway, your problem isn‘t finding the time to take notes. The problem is that taking notes is thinking and thinking has to be done by someone. women have been doing a lot of metacognition that looks like a task when it’s really thinking.

OK. Folks are asking for my research seminar AI statement in my syllabus. Here it is. I just wrote it. Might still tweak it.
I want to emphasize this. I see our time together in this seminar as a kind of pact. I do my best to give you a love of the topic under debate and to make you better writers; you, in turn, give me your best in class and in writing without Al assistance. Our mutual meeting place --student to teacher -- matters to me tremendously; I teach because I want to give you something of value. Use of AI erodes our pact, devaluing my teaching and your efforts.
