So my effort to dig into this led me to read the full indictment of Mohammed Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi — the Iraqi “resistance axis“ leader captured by the U.S. in May It really deserved more attention. There’s good evidence he coordinated a number of terror attacks in the West since the war began

It’s a good question. Obviously that’s not my lane, I’m writing a book on antisemitism. But my counter-question would be: should we *never* thoughtfully examine the implications of behavior by any individuals or organizations associated with a minority vis-a-vis the fight against prejudice?

Money that comes into the United States government is government revenue. It is part of the public fisc. There's not "taxpayer money" and then "extra bonus money outside the rules." It's all taxpayer money. And spending *any* of it requires Congressional authorization. 2/
