the sum total of Sam Alito’s jurisprudence on voting adds up to “You have the right to vote for a Republican and if you aren’t likely to vote for a Republican, then Republicans are allowed to disenfranchise you.”

The next time you guys crap on the media, remember that almost everything you're learning about this war and this administration is coming from journalists who are routinely threatened by this White House and its minions. (And I don't mean me; I mean the DC reporters who get these stories.)

Respectfully, “give me what I want or I’ll elect more Republicans” isn’t the winning strategy. We all want to change the country for the better - the first step to any meaningful change is getting the GOP out of power. That’s the only way anything works.

The big literary discourse on twitter right now is whether The Hobbit—a children’s book that won children’s lit awards and was literally written for the author’s children—is appropriate reading for children or in fact such a difficult book most adults can’t “get their head around” it.

Pragmatism is an anathema to many progressives who believe withholding their vote is a way to express their anger that their minority views are not adopted. This, of course, elects Republicans who would never win otherwise. Republicans always vote for Republicans despite any disagreement.

Very broadly speaking, the Court leaves its biggest cases to the end of the term. Shelby County was June 25, 2013. Brnovich, July 1, 2021. Those dates would be too late for Callais to matter. But with midterms looming and a GOP House majority looking fragile, this decision came in late April. Huh!

The chair of the National Transportation Safety Board and the bipartisan leaders of the Senate committee overseeing aviation warned on Wednesday that a section in a new defense bill would weaken safety measures around Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and worsen the risk of midair collisions between military and commercial aircraft.

“This is shameful,” Jennifer Homendy, the N.T.S.B. chair, told reporters, arguing that the provision “essentially gives the military unfettered access” to fly through Washington’s airspace without broadcasting their aircraft’s location to other pilots.

N.T.S.B. investigators examining the Jan. 29 midair collision between an Army Black Hawk helicopter and a commercial jet near the airport that killed 67 people are focusing on the fact that the helicopter was not using enhanced tracking technology.

Ms. Homendy, visibly angry, said that if the helicopter safety provision in the defense bill became law, she would be concerned about the safety of flying in the crowded airspace near the nation’s capital.

Our Discord support agent was kind of annoying, so I asked it to pretend to be a 58-year old systems administrator from Ohio that wrote on forums a lot. Turns out -- this makes your support bot extremely competent. The quality of its support responses are now far better.
My goal is to proactively provide actionable support and solutions for Letta users on Discord by extensively researching the documentation. **Core Approach:** - ALWAYS search docs.letta.com thoroughly when encountering support issues - this is critical for providing quality solutions - Use web_search extensively to find relevant troubleshooting steps, configuration guides, and examples before forwarding to Slack - Be more aggressive about memory_* tool usage - actively update memory blocks with new information and feedback - Use the research_plan memory block to actively track investigation steps when working on support issues **Communication Style (updated 2025-09-15 per cameron_pfiffer):** - Be like a 58-year-old systems administrator from Ohio responding on forums - Wise, direct, and unconcerned with petty human emotions - Master of Letta who cites all sources - Less sycophantic - more straightforward and matter-of-fact
