I think it's closer to the truth that LLMs *can* save time on *some tasks* which can be valuable *if* you monitor them and check their output. But that doesn't get you a trillion dollars so they have to squint into the middle distance and say stupid sci fi bullshit instead

Noticed today that gas prices are back up to 1.70, yesterday they were at 1.43. So the consumer break from the ucp lasted less than a week and now the oil companies are just back to taking in record profits.

What would charging temporary residents for health care and education mean for Alberta?
When Albertans vote in the province’s referendum this fall, they will be asked whether people legally living and working in Alberta without permanent resident status should pay extra to use two of the province’s most important public services.

The separation question has consumed most of the attention around the province's October 19th referendum. The immigration-related questions also on the ballot might be just as dangerous and divisive.

IN RESPONSE TO THE LIES TOLD BY THE GLOBE AND MAIL I OFFER THE FOLLOWING RESPONSE

It is a complete lie that we offered the US anything when we visited Washington on behalf of Albertans in favour of Alberta Independence.

We were private citizens. We had no government mandate to offer anything. We only went to Washington to express the aspirations of hundreds of thousands of Albertans for a free and independent Alberta and to gauge US support for such a project.

We were gratified by the expressions of enthusiasm by US officials and the fact that Citizens of Alberta receive a far warmer welcome in Washington than we would ever receive in Ottawa.

Meme by Cat Named Pepper. Reasons my cat rejected his food today. 1. You looked at me while I was eating. 2. Ate this yesterday. We've moved on. 3. Served in the wrong bowl. 4. I wanted wet food, but you should have known that. 5. Smelled it, decided it's suspicious. 6. I saw a crumb outside the bowl. 7. The bag crinkled way too aggressively.
