Absolutely! Mine has an empty cardboard box beside the bed which has been in place for an eternity - it's her midnight claw sharpening facility and means all she has to do is slide off the bed to sharpen said claws w/out having to go through to the kitchen 🙄🙄 Removing said box wasn't well received.

That's how we got this guy. 2 years old, never neutered until surrendered. His person lost her job, gave up her apartment, moved back in with mom, no pets allowed. He was stressed, challenging, and fearful. His first gotcha day will be December 5, 2026. Look at the difference!

Always rescue, they're great dogs who don't deserve to be there. Also they already have a personality so you can get a dog that suits you. Ask for the one who always wants walks, or the one who almost never wants walks, whatever works for you!

A plea to all you wonderful folks who are thinking to adopt (not buy) a dog or cat… The shelters are FILLED with animals who’ve been surrendered. Yesterday they had a bed and a family and now they are confused and terrified through no fault of their own. Consider giving them a next chapter.
